Residential Treatment Program

Residential, or inpatient treatment is the most common form of rehab or addiction recovery treatment. The Second Chances residential treatment program requires a 30-day minimum stay, but, a 90-day stay is recommended and preferred.

Intensive Outpatient Program

An IOP is the second step of rehab and addiction recovery therapy. This program ensures continued care and a stable support system for the initial struggles commonly faced during transition out of addiction. Addiction Treatment Programs

Unlike many Oklahoma addiction treatment facilities, we are not a one-size fits all center. We offer truly customizable detox and residential treatment of addiction. Our program is built around treating the root cause of addiction, not just the addiction itself. At Second Chance Recovery, we spend the first day of treatment stabilizing and understanding the patient rather than just stabilization. This is the way to provide our patients with a long lasting recovery experience that lasts more than a few months.

    Domestic Violence Batterer Intervention Program

Domestic Violence, better known as the Batterers Intervention Program is a 52-week court mandated program that batterers attend .

With the Courts approval, we can also offer an accelerate program at 2 sessions per week, to be completed in 6 months.

Batterers may also voluntarily attend this program.

  • Second Chance Recovery Admissions

Prior to entering our facility, each patient will have an interview with one of our medical provider to ensure our program is the right fit. This includes medications currently prescribed, amounts, any psychological history, and other relevant medical history. Our goal is to ensure we are able to care for the patient in the right way to achieve the desired outcome of sobriety.

The Second Chance program is most beneficial when the client and her/his family are engaged and committed to the treatment process. Our team understands that resistance can initially be a reaction to treatment. Often, subsequent positive change may follow.

We expect a commitment from our client to stay a minimum of 28 days in our residential treatment. We also expect the client to refrain from drinking alcohol and using unauthorized drugs and follow the personalized treatment plan guidelines that are outlined by his/her therapist and agreed to by the client.

A referral from a psychiatrist, therapist or other medical practitioner isnt necessary for rehab admission to Second Chance Recovery however, we certainly welcome their input and strive to maintain open communication with other providers.

You dont have to see someones face to understand what theyre going through. As Contact Center Lead at Recovery Center of Americas Mission Center in Philadelphia, I dont always know exactly who Im talking to when I pick up the phone, but I know the feeling of needing a single place to go, a single source of hope. And in every phone conversation, I try to convey that understanding to the parents, loved ones, or individuals who have called to make it a little easier for them to see that there are options, and that there can be solutions.

I would know. It wasnt too long ago that I was one of those voices on the other end of the line.

I was living outside of Philadelphia when I started drinking and smoking at around 12 or 13. Once I got to high school, my buddies and I began dipping into painkillers and opiates. We would use together, it felt recreationala social thing, even. But by the time I was a junior, it had landed me in my first treatment center, which, at the time, was the last place I wanted to be. I was still a kid I had no interest in being told what to do. So when I was released after 45 days, I went straight back to what I had been doing.

Whenever I got tired of life on the street, I used treatment centers as crutches, staying just long enough to get some food and rest. And then, Id leave. I floated in and out of five or six in just that year alone, inevitably coming back to the street for the next high.
