These changes are most noticeable when living with the individual, but they can be noticed in other users. Unfortunately, many of the signs are usually written off or explained away by the addict. Individuals who are addicted to drugs and alcohol have become very good at lying to themselves and manipulation becomes a way of life. If something on this list occurs once or twice or then it might not be drug use or addiction. However, if multiple changes are present, drug use is the likely cause:

Teenagers in Indonesia are collecting menstrual pads and tampons often of the used variety and boiling them, allowing the mixture to cool and then imbibing the resulting liquid.
Police have already arrested several minors caught making this menstrual-pad moonshine.
One 14-year-old confessed that he and his buds swig it morning, afternoon and evening, the Daily Mail reports.
The National Narcotics Agency in Indonesia says its the chlorine used to sanitize menstrual products thats getting kids tipsy, giving them hallucinations and a feeling of flying.
As it turns out, this has been going on for at least a couple of years, as this phenomenon was first reported by Indonesian authorities back in 2016.
I dont know who started it, Jimy Ginting, an advocate for safe drinking in Indonesia, tells the Jakarta Post. There is no law against it so far. There is no law against these kids using a mixture of mosquito repellent and to get drunk.
Please, Mr. Ginting, dont give them any more ideas.

Heroin is a fast-acting opiate. When its injected, there is a surge of euphoria that arrives within seconds. Those using the drug other ways may not feel this surge as sharply. This rush of euphoria is accompanied by a dry mouth and flushed skin. Dilated or smaller-than-normal pupils are also an indication of current heroin intoxication. Other than the rush of euphoria, the symptoms of heroin use are the same for all methods of use. The difference is in the degree a user will feel the effects.
Users will often appear drowsy and move slowly. With heroin injection in particular, users will often exhibit a particular behavior. The individual will momentarily pass out, only waking up when their chin hits the chest. Many pharmaceutical companies are now making painkillers with an outside protective coating, which makes it harder to crush up or grind. Even with the companies and government making new tamper-proofpills, addicts will always find a way.
When I was in active addiction I would take hose clamps off of the pipes under the sink or the ones off of the engine in my car. Once my addiction got worse I went to the hardware store and bought a bunch of hose clamps to always have ready.

Baggies And Small Plastic Bags
Drugs are kept in small baggies so they can be concealed easily. If you notice an abundance of little dime bags or sandwich bags laying around this should be a warning. These little baggies range in size but are usually about an inch wide by an inch tall.
I sold some weed during my early partying days. I would buy boxes of sandwich bags from the store and have dozens laying around my room. No matter what the drug is most dealers use these little baggies to sell their product.
