First Impressions Of The Dior Addict Lip Glow
I love the soft pink of the 001 Pink colour I bought and the transparent casing feels solid to hold with nicely rounded edges and a raised Dior logo that caught my eye with the inner silver lip glow stick visible inside creating a stylish effect.
The silver lipstick tube fits perfectly into the pink casing and the little ridge lets it click back into place with ease. I love the snug quality fit of this addict lip glow.
Whats The Formula Like
Dior use Luffa Cylindrica to help create a soft & smooth texture and wild mango which sounds nice and tasty!. The formula is a balanced mixture of lip care ingredients and makeup to help create a luscious appearance and glow. Application is smooth and the formula glides across the lips and is simple to apply evenly.
This formula is PH adaptable so is responsive to your skins PH value, which is what Dior are talking about when they mention their colour reviver technology. I cant say for sure how this Balm reacts on different lips but I really enjoyed the formula, it smelt tasty and I picked up some mint and a hint of vanilla scent. Mango butter had great moisturising properties and my lips do feel hydrated while wearing Dior addict, but I dont think the hydration lasted quite as long as the 24 hours Dior claim.
If you are wearing this in the sun, there is some SPF10 sun protection which reduce the chance of your lips drying out or burning in sunlight.

Dior Addict Lip Glow Review Final Thoughts
If you dont like the complete transparency of a lip balm but also dont want lips that are defined and stand out wearing a strong lipstick formula then the Dior Addict colour Reviver balm offers a nice balance with a wide selection of colours and subtle tones that dont overwhelm your lips.
Be sure to apply to bare lips for the full effect of the colour adjusting to your lips.
Im sure youll love the velvety matte finish colour choices and become addicted to this lip glow just like I am. If I didnt love lipsticks so much Id wear this Lip Glow everyday and match the colour tone with my gel nails.

How It Looks And Feels Dior Addict Lip Glow Swatches
Youll smell that familiar strong feminine scent when you open the tube and take out the stick. I really really love this rosy vanilla scent that you might find on a casual body spray or light perfume. Maybe its the joy of opening and trying on a new exciting and pretty lip balm that makes it smell so good!!
The flush pretty pink colour is beautiful and this Dior addict lip glow being a balm I can feel the moisture in my lips that you just dont get with the average lipstick. Comfort and lip care is important to me and Dior offer a great balance between the strong colour and definition of a lipstick and the comforting hydration of a balm.
When I applied this lip glow to my lips it felt easy to apply and was smooth and luscious. Be careful to apply with some care because this is more colourful than a clear lip balm so a little care has to be taken but application is still possible without a mirror. If you regularly lick your lips youll notice there is no flavour which is a good thing because Id want to lick it a lot with its tasty light scent.

Lip Glow Shade Choices
There are 10 shades to choose from, here is a list of all the colour choices:
- 001 Pink
- 101 Matte Pink
- 102 Matte Raspberry
I love the 001 pink shade most because the tone is flush and gorgeous. The tone is a very light and gentle pink that is cute and doesnt try to overwhelm you. When the formula changes as your lips warm it up the tone changes a little differently for everybody.
If you prefer a darker shade of lip balm berry and holo purple shades are darker but beautiful bold tones. Sometimes its nice to lose the glossy shine and the matte colour tones of pink and raspberry are much less shiny, but arent fully matte and still offer a little sheen effect on your lips.
How To Apply
You should apply it onto bare lips because the formula works best with your natural lips. Apply as you would with a regular lip balm apply to your bottom lip first by placing the product against your lip and moving along slowly and evenly, repeat this with your top lip next. Because Dior Lip glow isnt a strong powerful formula like you often find in lip sticks, the colour wont run and doesnt have to be applied as precisely as a lip stick. You can pop it onto your lips and glide across without using a mirror but be a little bit aware that sometimes the pink colour will sometimes spread outside your lip line very subtly.
